RGR support for RedR recognised at Royal reception

RGR is committed to providing 0.7% of annual turnover as a donation to development charities as part of our social responsibility approach to doing business.  We chose this figure to mirror the commitments that Western governments are seeking to achieve - to provide 0.7% of GDP as development aid.  RGR supports RedR - the disaster relief charity - and we were recently delighted to meet HRH The Princess Royal at a reception on 8th November at St James' Palace to mark the 30th Anniversary of RedR and have an opportunity to describe this commitment to her.  RGR is pleased to continue supporting RedR as they make further efforts to train aid workers to be more effective in disaster relief efforts as well as providing technical support and professional staff when emergencies occur, such as the Pakistan floods and Haitian earthquake.  More information is available at www.redr.org.uk
