European Week for Waste Reduction: 20-28 Nov 2010
A range of partners across Europe have organised another European Week for Waste Reduction, this time from 20th to 28th November 2010. It provides an opportunity to highlight the importance of reducing waste at source as what should be the priority in the delivery of the waste management hierarchy, and which should bring most benefits in terms of reduced materials use, carbon emissions and landfill reduction.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved - whether you are a business, local authority or a community group.
